In April, Pre-K students at Eva Covington Head Start Center had their Transition to Kindergarten with a visit to the elementary school! They toured kindergarten classrooms, the library, and music room, met the kindergarten teachers and the school nurse. Ms. Tammy, the librarian, read a book about coming to kindergarten, and Ms. Kay, the music teacher, led a sing along, and introduced the group to some instruments!
Pre-K students from West Tallahatchie Head Start Center visited R.H. Bearden Elementary School. They toured the kindergarten classrooms, met teachers’ and students, and had an introduction for the next year!
