Spring Book Walk

On Monday, April 14th, TELA partnered with Tallahatchie County Libraries and Charleston Arts and Revitalization Effort to bring Dr. Seuss’s “If You Think There’s Nothing to Do” to life for students at Charleston Elementary School and Eva Covington Head Start Center.

Students toured the Square, where local businesses transformed their spaces into the world of Dr. Seuss with story segments and props in shop windows. Many offered treats and giveaways for the kids.

Thanks to our community business leaders for creating a memorable learning experience for children in Tallahatchie County!
