OUR SUPPORT FOR THE FOUR PREK COLLABORATIVE SITES INCLUDES:

Providing Professional Development:
We lead monthly Professional Learning Communities with teachers. We work with teachers to develop high-quality lesson plans aligned to evidence-based curricula and strategies, and we provide individualized coaching.

Compliance Management
The state of Mississippi has one of the highest quality state-funded pre-K programs in the nation. We work with partners to ensure that each provider
can meet the high standards put in place by the Department of Education.

Facilitating Collaboration
The leaders of each partner organization in our collaborative make up our collaborative council. We provide regular communication to the council,
and we facilitate collaborative council meetings to ensure that partners can align goals and strategies, share resources, and problem solve together.

Providing Resources
The state funding we receive goes directly to each of our partners to operate Pre-K classrooms. With the help of the state tax credit included in the Early
Learning Collaborative Act, we also raise additional funds from philanthropic donations to support classrooms.
In the past, we have purchased technology and classroom equipment, provided teacher bonuses, and facilitated additional professional development with these funds.
